To Conquer A Goliath, Lyft Must Act At The Speed Of Light

With passengers scoffing at everything from fist-bumps with drivers to quirky pink mustaches adorning cars, Lyft’s warm and fuzzy persona has been mocked over the years.

Yet with Uber CEO Travis Kalanick resigning in light of a tarnished brand image, a #deleteUber campaign and declining market share, should we really be rolling our eyes at Lyft’s “culture of cuteness?”

As Lyft experiences a bump in bookings , and Uber’s market share tumbles from 84% in January to 75% in June, the question is: how can Lyft sustain success while Uber carries out its difficult, 47-policy mandate to transform?

In what could be likened to a David and Goliath situation, Lyft (or any other organization whose competition is stumbling) must seize this “Uber moment” […]
