In Fort Worth, if you forgot to buy a bottle of wine for your anniversary, there’s an app that’s got you covered.

Postmates, which connects customers with local couriers who can deliver anything from any store or restaurant in minutes, recently rolled out its DRINKS service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which means app users will be able to get wine, beer and spirits on demand.

Consumers can download the app on their smartphones and have groceries, other food items and alcoholic beverages delivered right to their front door.

The app lists the inventory available and the customer selects what they want — categories include imported beer, domestic beer, sparkling wine, red wines, white wines, brandy, gin, cognac, rum, tequila, vodka and whiskey.
