Stater Brothers unveils grocery delivery service

Residents who have limited time or are unable to run to the store can order groceries online through a handful of local retailers and have goods delivered in two hours or less.

Stater Bros. announced last month that it has joined Instacart, an internet-based service that partners with local markets to deliver products to customers living in hundreds of cities, including Simi Valley, Moorpark, Calabasas and parts of the Conejo Valley.

Local shoppers can also use the service to place online orders with Smart & Final, Whole Foods, Costco, Ralphs and Petco, depending on their ZIP code.

“Partnering with the best, most beloved local grocery retailers is a key cornerstone of our business,” Nilam Ganenthiran, Instacart spokesperson, said in a statement provided to the Acorn. “Stater Bros. is a beloved brand, and we are proud of this partnership that allows us to bring customers a whole new range of products with delivery in as little as an hour.”
