UberEATS delivery service to launch in Nottingham – this is how it works

 The brains behind taxi app Uber are launching a new food delivery service in Nottingham. More than 50 city restaurants (including Barburrito, Cookieshake, Griddle and Shake and Rub Smokehouse) have signed up to be part of UberEATS – a courier service similar to Deliveroo.

Already up and running in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the new app and website will go live as of 11am on Friday, May 12 and will then be available every day of the week from 11am until 11pm, there after.

Delivery charge is usually a flat £2.50 per order (however, greedy you have been) but to celebrate the launch locals can enter the code ‘NottinghamEATS’ into the app to access free delivery for their first month, up to 10 orders.
