State Legislature could end UBER’s presence in Nevada

Popular ride-sharing company UBER could be leaving the Silver State in the coming days’ thanks to a proposed amendment.

On Friday, May 26 at 11:35 p.m., the taxi cab association, and lobbyist snuck a controversial amendment into a bill which could effectively end UBER in Nevada.

The amendment was added with no discussion, committee hearing, public debate or circumnavigating the critical parts of the legislative process.
