Six Distinguished Speakers to Talk About Telemedicine and Telehealth for Global Health at MIT on Tuesday

At the concluding session in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology course on “Telemedicine and Telehealth for Global Health” that is taught by Prof. Amar Gupta, six distinguished speakers from institutions such as Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative, Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and a few startups, will speak on Tuesday, May 16. The event is free to all attendees.

The panel discussion will be held from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16 in Room 66-144; 25 Ames Street, Cambridge, MA.

This session will include a talk by: Charles Koontz : Chief Digital Officer, GE Healthcare and President and CEO, GE Healthcare Digita . In his role, Koontz is advancing the company’s strength in digital and outcomes-based solutions for healthcare providers, governments and payers. As CDO, he is leading GE Healthcare’s digital industrial transformation. GE Healthcare is a global leader in developing software-enabled solutions for integrated care. These solutions combine software, consulting services and support to create actionable insights across healthcare systems for better clinical, operational and financial outcomes.
