Make a call and take a Careem ride in Dubai without the app

No app, no problem. Customers who want to hail a private ride but don’t have an app in their smart phones can now use the latest service introduced by Dubai-based ride-hailing app Careem which uses an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology instead of an app.

The system (Careem On Call) allows users to book a car in five seconds without downloading the app or setting up an account, according to Careem. “It targets people who are relocating or travelling to Dubai and aren’t familiar with the convenient world of ride-hailing apps.
