How to experience Mexico City like a local



Host Marco Antonio shares his favorite spots

Our guests tell us time and time again how much they love receiving local tips from hosts after their EatWith events. Where would you send a tourist to feel like a local in Mexico City?

In la Roma, visit the street taco stands and have a steak taco with cheese. Add some potatoes or cactus salad! Also make sure to try a torta. For a good breakfast or lunch with authentic Mexican coffee, I like to visit Gran Cibeles . From the moment you enter, you feel like you’re visiting a friend. And then the most extraordinary experience is Mercado Medellin, where you can have lunch at Comedor de la Abuela , and make your own water or juice with fresh fruits.
