Just Eat will be the new sponsor of The X Factor The FTSE 250 takeaway-ordering website’s multi-year agreement includes sponsorship of the TV show, app and annual live tour. It takes over from broadband company TalkTalk, which had been the sponsor for the past decade.
Just Eat , which has more than nine million UK customers and 27,600 restaurant partners, said it would launch a nationwide "Chef Factor" search for singing takeaway restaurant cooks to star in branded clips at the start and end of commercial breaks during the show.
The company, shirt sponsor of Championship football team Derby County, said the new deal would provide "a fantastic opportunity to reach an even broader audience".
